SignPost Specialists are a small business serving the real estate industry by managing the installation and removal of signposts on behalf of a number of East Bay area real estate offices. Initially, owner Matt Jenkins came to us with help to fix an aging and broken website which was not working for his growing business needs and processes. At first, we just fixed a number of things, but overtime it was clear that the website needed to be rebuilt from the ground-up.

The new website was more of a custom order management system than a marketing website. Matt sold his services in person to local real estate offices. The challenge was that services weren't offered on a one-size fits all scenario. Different offices needed elite pricing, varying turn around times and more. Plus the agents who placed orders needed a real time system for tracking order status. Sara Lorien Design did an exhaustive search and evaluation of available order management platforms, but didn't find anything that met Signposts needs. So, we built the a completely custom system using WordPress and GravityForms. Additionally we integrated with MailChimp for notifications and Mandrill for delivery tracking of emails to ensure that both the owner and the clients got all new and existing order updates. We also provided ongoing website maintenance and security, along with occasional tech support for SignPost's clients.

Signpost Specialists was sold to FastPosts in 2020 after being a client of ours for seven years.
